Open the output tray / ink load door (3.1) and add ink sticks as needed (3.2). Only add appropriate colors in the color-key shapped receptacles. Close output tray/ink load door. (3.3)

If any one color is low or depleted the printer will stop and present the message Stop add color ink. If this occurs follow these steps:

Empty output tray
Open the ink load door
Add ink sticks (See diagram above)

If you are changing from OEM Xerox to/from Generic ink sticks, it is very important to ensure that you have finished using the old ink you mean to replace before adding the new ink. If you fail to do this, you will notice a color shift as the two different kinds of inks mix until the old ink has been completely eliminated from the system.
